The Jefferson Parish Schools Food Services Department is responsible for preparing and serving meals offered to students and staff throughout the district. Breakfast and lunch are offered in all schools. Students are offered a variety of healthy meals daily. Menus are planned following United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) guidelines with an emphasis on the use of whole grains, fruits and vegetables. Please note that last minute menu changes may occur at our schools due to nationwide food supply chain issues. The menus on the district website may not reflect these changes. If you have any questions regarding your school's menu, please reach out to your school's cafeteria manager. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this time. Pre-Payment of Meals/Extra Sale Items Parents may choose to pre-pay for their child's meals or extra sales purchases by sending cash, checks made payable to "Thomas Jefferson Academy", or by using "MyPaymentsPlus". MyPaymentsPlus allows any family to create a secure account to check their child's account meal balance, monitor what the child has purchased in the cafeteria, and create settings to receive notifications when the account reaches a low balance. For a small program fee, a pre-payment by check, credit card, or debit card may be made to the child's account at www.MyPaymentsPlus.com or by calling 877-713-5436. You will need to know your child's Person ID number to create an account. The Cafeteria Manager can provide this number, if necessary. Funds deposited through MyPaymentsPlus are usually credited to the child's account quickly, reducing the worry about lost or forgotten money for meals. Meal payments cannot be made using School Cash Online.
