Governor Lee, Commissioner Rolfe Announce NOVONIX to Expand Chattanooga Manufacturing Operations

Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Bob Rolfe and NOVONIX officials announced today that the company will expand its Chattanooga manufacturing operations.The project represents an investment of approximately $160 million and the creation of 290 new jobs in Hamilton County.

NASHVILLE--Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions Commissioner Greg Gonzales announced today that the maximum effective formula rate of interest in Tennessee is 7.25 percent per annum.The rate is based on a ceiling of 4 percent over the weekly average prime loan rate of 3.25 percent as published by the Federal Reserve on June 21, 2021.
